This a great book, very well written with lots of great photos, charts, and access a sea of instructional videos. The formula for calculating your diet is quick and easy and makes total sense..... Rich Gaspari was always one of the bodybuilders who's physique I wanted to emulate. This is literally the instruction manual - as well as the Bible!
I'm new to bodybuilding and really striving to build a physique that could qualify as "classic." I had no idea who Rich Gaspari was until one day when my training partner came in with a new Gaspari Nutrition gym bag - really nice one too. I asked him what that was and he looked back at me like I was from another planet. he took out his phone and googled "Rich Gaspari" and showed me pics of him competing before I was born! All I could say is that this is the guy who I want to learn from. So, this book seems to be it. It's huge and packed with very useful and applicable information. I've already calculated my Bulking phase diet and my off season training routine. The videos of how to do the exercises correctly really helps. This really is a very complete and informative book from a guy who walked the talk.
Read and reread the information Rich shares from years of top notch competing. Put some of his training concepts back into my training after originally trying them back in the late 80’s. Made a difference going back to the old school ways.

I LOVE this "Bible" from Rich Gaspari. I compete in the NPC and have done all my shows myself and will continue to do so. I feel this book really covers all the basis when it comes to off and prep season. When I purchased this book, I had already started prep for 2 upcoming shows so I will be using some of the tips for getting into the best shape I can as well as "peek week". I am looking forward to using this book fully on my next off season and see how much I can really grow. The ONLY negative thing I can say about this book is....During a prep, the workouts have you doing super sets with opposite muscle groups. At most gyms these combo's are not possible without upsetting another gym member. I would have liked some alternatives to this concept. Otherwise this book is a MUST for anyone who competes and wants to learn and especially for those who does their own preps like myself.
